Registering on time: what the teachers scholarship says about the registration date
Under Appendix 1 of the 2025 Application Guidelines for the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, a recipient who does not register within the period stipulated in the Letter of Admission will have the scholarship revoked. The same appendix says that a recipient who registers after the 15th of the month is entitled to half of the amount for that month. These rules belong to that scholarship only.

Two registration provisions
Section III of the guidelines says that the successful applicant must register at the Host Institution on the designated date as per the Letter of Admission.
Appendix 1 says that scholarship recipients must register with the university within the period stipulated in the Letter of Admission.
The two provisions use different words. Section III refers to a designated date. Appendix 1 refers to a period. Both point to the Letter of Admission.
What the text says happens if registration is late
Appendix 1 says: "Otherwise, the scholarship will be revoked." This sentence follows the requirement to register within the stipulated period.
Registration after the 15th and the living allowance
Appendix 1, item 3, sets the living allowance, paid by the Host Institutions on a monthly basis. The monthly amounts are:

The same item states the registration rule for the month: students registered before the 15th (inclusive) of the month are entitled to the full allowance of that month, while those registered after the 15th are entitled to half of the amount.
Dates
The dates in the 2025 guidelines belong to the 2025 cycle, and all of them have passed. Read the guidelines for the current year before you act on any date.
The guidelines also set application deadlines for each start month in Section III. These deadlines are separate from the registration rules above.
